Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in technology, information science, accounting, or finance and a minimum of 7 years of related work experience, or a graduate degree with approximately 6 years of related work experience.
  • Approved technical certification, CPA license, or membership to a state Bar.
  • Hands-on technical experience with expertise in architecting and delivering innovative, data-driven solutions using modern analytics and AI technologies.
  • Experience with developing solutions using Microsoft Azure, IBM watsonx, or Databricks stack.
  • Strong communication skills in managing executive stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Challenge the effectiveness of the tax technology strategy and approach for all engagements.
  • Develop strong relationships across a network of existing and future clients and key stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for the use of technology to enhance delivery of indirect tax services.
  • Participate as a member of pursuit teams and service delivery teams supporting various client projects.
  • Monitor penetration and performance of technology services and communicate findings to leadership.
