The role involves working with Qualcomm's CPU software architecture team to drive the development of cutting-edge CPU sub-system feature software architecture and firmware. Candidates will engage in hardware-software co-design, system optimizations, and firmware development, with a focus on the latest ARMv9 architecture features. This position offers opportunities to contribute to various Qualcomm SoCs used in premium mobile devices, laptops, automotive, cloud, and server products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering and a strong understanding of embedded systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
• 4+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• 10+ years of experience in embedded system development.
• Understanding of ARM CPU architecture fundamentals and ARMv8/v9 ISA.
• Familiarity with open-source development tools and frameworks.

• Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to customize software for operational efficiency.
• Design and implement software modules for products and systems.
• Participate in design, coding for large features, unit testing, and debugging.
• Perform code reviews and regression tests, and fix issues to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with project team members to achieve project objectives.
• Write technical documentation for software projects.
