Job description

Arcadis is seeking a field-focused construction professional to support the delivery of complex infrastructure and transportation projects. The role involves assisting with construction oversight, field coordination, documentation, quality assurance, safety, environmental compliance, and project controls activities. Working closely with project managers, contractors, engineers, and stakeholders, the professional will help ensure that work is delivered safely and efficiently. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction management, field engineering, or inspection on large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, project controls, and quality assurance processes.
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance, safety management, and document control.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with site supervision and field management, supporting the oversight of all construction activities by the Project Contractor.
  • Ensure compliance with construction management plans, safety and security protocols, and project requirements.
  • Monitor and document daily construction activities, including safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Support the development and implementation of environmental monitoring and compliance programs.
  • Assist with project controls, including schedule management, cost estimating, and budget tracking.
  • Support the implementation of quality management plans and conduct quality audits.
  • Participate in meetings, technical briefings, and coordination sessions with project management, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Assist with the implementation of safety management plans and procedures.
  • Help with package and contract close-out, including punch-list resolution and completion certificates.
