The Senior Tableau Developer will oversee the lifecycle of Tableau analytics dashboards and Tableau Prep Flows, focusing on business requirements gathering, development, and post-launch enhancements. This role requires strong expertise in Tableau and data integration, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. The developer will also manage Tableau Server administration and automate processes for data extraction. The position is based in Irving, Texas, and is part of the Applications Development team within the Technology group.

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise BI development, preferably from a consulting background.
• Strong background in designing and implementing enterprise scale solutions.
• Solid hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
• Thorough knowledge of Tableau administration and architecture.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, and MongoDB.

• Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting and analytics dashboards.
• Design and develop solutions using Tableau dashboards with Sybase or Big Data as backend technologies.
• Integrate data from various sources into Tableau and conduct data cleansing and aggregation.
• Monitor and enhance the performance of Tableau dashboards and data sources.
• Optimize data extracts and ensure efficient data retrieval on Tableau dashboards.
• Maintain, test, and schedule refresh of Tableau extracts.
• Devise process for trigger-based automation of Tableau extract refresh for large volumes of data.
• Assist with prioritization of bugs, feature work, and architectural enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and remediate issues related to data integrity and dashboard performance.
• Manage Tableau Server and administration on Linux Server, including upgrades and installations.
