The Analyst role at Citi's Global Money Markets Business involves working closely with clients to originate commercial paper programs. Requirements
- One or two years of experience working in financial services
- Self-motivated with high levels of energy, engagement, and integrity
- Proven success working in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to manage and analyze large data sets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- BS/BA degree
- Series 7, 79 and 63 preferred
Responsibilities
- Identify potential business opportunities by collaborating with Banking and Capital Markets teams and directly with clients.
- Pitch new business opportunities to clients.
- Negotiate and document new commercial paper programs with clients and legal counsel.
- Review and execute amendments for existing commercial paper programs.
- Develop relationships with existing and potential new issuers, providing them with market knowledge.
- Support the trading desk by responding to internal and external requests for information.
- Coordinate with Corporate Banking on client coverage and relationship matters.
