Job description

The .NET Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position focused on the establishment and implementation of application systems in collaboration with the Technology team. The role emphasizes contributions to application systems analysis and programming activities. The analyst will work on enhancing system functionalities and ensuring compliance with security standards. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and the ability to consult with various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-5+ years' experience in full-stack development with expertise in .NET Core MVC, C#, ASP.NET, Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS for front-end; and .NET Core microservices for back-end.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements.
  • Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions.
  • Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, and conduct testing and debugging.
  • Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
  • Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces.
  • Architect and develop scalable database schemas, stored procedures, and functions across SQL Server.
  • Create and maintain automated workflows that interact with multiple APIs, databases, and application UIs.
  • Design, build, and maintain RESTful microservices and backend services using .NET Core.
  • Participate in UAT testing cycles and resolve defects in a timely manner.
