The .NET Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position focused on the establishment and implementation of application systems in collaboration with the Technology team. The role involves contributing to applications systems analysis and programming activities, ensuring that systems meet user needs and security standards. The analyst will work with various programming languages and tools to enhance system functionality and support business objectives. This position requires a mix of technical expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements.
- Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions.
- Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging.
- Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
- Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using C# .NET Core MVC, ASP.NET, Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS.
- Architect and develop scalable database schemas, stored procedures, and functions across SQL Server database platform.
- Create and maintain automated workflows that interact with multiple APIs, databases, and application UIs.
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful microservices and backend services using .NET Core.
- Manage code promotion activities and SDLC compliance artifacts.
- Participate in UAT testing cycles and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint grooming, backlog refinement, and delivery planning.
