Job description
The Global Rates business is looking for an AI Engineer to develop and implement innovative artificial intelligence solutions that enhance trading, risk management, and client services. This position combines advanced AI technology with financial markets, allowing the engineer to create impactful applications. The role involves collaboration with traders, sales, quants, and technology teams to integrate AI into existing systems. The engineer will focus on building production-ready AI applications and intelligent automation solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field
- 1-5 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, software development, or data science roles
- Hands-on experience with generative AI techniques and large language models
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Strong academic foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI applications using generative AI techniques
- Build intelligent automation solutions that enhance trading workflows and operational efficiency
- Develop agentic coding systems for financial applications
- Create conversational AI interfaces for traders and business users
- Architect and implement RAG pipelines for knowledge retrieval from financial data sources
- Design and optimize vector databases for efficient information retrieval
- Develop data pipelines to support AI/ML workflows
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases for AI implementation
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and evaluate their applicability to business needs
