The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position focused on the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems in collaboration with the Technology team. The role emphasizes contributions to applications systems analysis and programming activities. The analyst will work on feasibility studies, risk technology, and provide user support. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and the ability to mentor mid-level developers.

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred

• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and IT planning
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems and provide evaluations
• Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage
• Consult with users and other technology groups on issues and recommend advanced programming solutions
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation
