NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer to enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of a system that routes AI workloads onto distributed GPU fleets. The role involves working on a polyglot platform that is fully open source, focusing on innovative solutions for GPU- and DPU-accelerated applications. The engineer will collaborate with diverse teams and contribute to an open-source project, ensuring integration with various NVIDIA technologies. This position is ideal for someone with deep experience in systems performance and distributed systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Expert-level knowledge in a systems programming language such as Go, C, or Rust
- Strong understanding of container orchestration systems like Kubernetes
- Expertise in a scripting language such as Bash or Python
- Understanding of performance, security, and reliability in complex distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Work in a distributed team to develop and monitor GPU- and DPU-accelerated applications
- Design and ship services using Java, Go, and Rust in a public repository
- Automate and optimize build, test, integration, and release processes for cloud native applications
- Collaborate with engineering teams across NVIDIA for platform integration
- Steward an open-source project by triaging community issues and writing documentation
