The Apple Services Engineering team is seeking an experienced manager to lead a team of program managers in the architecture space. This role involves driving the strategy and execution of programs that enhance Apple's operational capabilities at scale. The position requires hands-on leadership, focusing on scope, timelines, and cross-functional execution. The manager will also play a key role in developing the next generation of program management leaders at Apple.

• 8+ years of program management, product management, systems engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years managing a team of technical program/project managers
• Excellent project management skills to drive schedules, dependencies, critical path and risks
• Solid technical understanding of large scale distributed software systems and cloud architecture
• Experience working with globally distributed teams
• Experience with release planning and SDLC methodologies
• Familiarity with system reliability engineering (SRE) process and deliverables
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field or at least 5+ years of comparable experience
• Strong relationship management and facilitation skills within diverse engineering teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to partner with product and engineering teams to translate user needs into actionable requirements
• Strong facilitation skills for meetings and sessions
• Experience in talent development, succession planning, and organizational design
• Experience building feature and technical roadmaps
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance short-term urgency with long-term strategy
• Ability to identify gaps in solutions and weigh in on tradeoffs
• Familiarity with open-source software development processes
