The System Verification CoDesign Engineer at SCG will work at the intersection of design, architecture, and productization across various markets including Gaming and Automotive. This hands-on role focuses on developing verification collaterals and automation infrastructure to validate system-level speed features. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and ensure on-time product shipment. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and innovative thinking, particularly in utilizing modern tooling and AI.
Requirements
- MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in a related hardware engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, frequency and power characterization, and PPA analysis.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python and/or Perl, and comfortable in Windows, Linux, and Android environments.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and data analysis tools such as JMP or equivalent.
- Demonstrated use of AI or LLM-based tools in an engineering workflow.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to co-design system-level speed features.
- Understand system-level behavior and identify solutions that optimize reliability margins.
- Translate hardware features into verification techniques for full coverage across testing flows.
- Perform closed loop validation by correlating silicon behavior against design expectations.
- Define and refine pre- and post-silicon bring-up flows to ensure product quality.
- Design and implement automation tools for system speed modeling using AI.
- Lead debug of complex silicon and system-level issues to enable on-time product shipment.
