·FY 2025Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Speed and Reliability Codesign Engineer to join the Silicon Co-Design Group. This role focuses on integrating speed and reliability features into silicon while ensuring they perform effectively against real silicon. The team operates at the intersection of architecture, design, and manufacturing, aiming to enhance overall system performance. Candidates will leverage AI-driven methodologies to improve design processes and collaborate with various teams to bring innovative products to market.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in silicon design, performance, timing, or post-silicon speed validation, with hands-on depth in both timing and real silicon.
- A track record of taking features from concept through silicon validation, with measured results.
- Comfortable working both sides of the boundary with enough design depth to build and enough data fluency to correlate against silicon.
- Cross-functional influence, with a demonstrated ability to align architecture, design, and manufacturing without direct reporting authority.
- Excellent problem solving, partnership, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Build out speed and reliability features from on-chip building blocks that protect frequency and lifetime without extra power or margin.
- Own design-to-silicon correlation by tying pre-silicon predictions to measured silicon and feeding gaps back to design.
- Verify the codesign by proving each feature holds across voltage, temperature, process, and aging corners before tapeout.
- Use AI as a force multiplier to build AI-driven flows for correlation, data analysis, and verification.
- Drive decisions across the silicon-to-system boundary by surfacing trade-offs between frequency, lifetime, power, yield, and area.
- Collaborate with architecture, VLSI, ASIC, firmware, and product teams to bring next-generation products to market.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
