Job description

The role involves building and deploying advanced data analytics and optimization models to enhance cloud gaming services. The team focuses on real-time routing and scheduling, utilizing a data platform that encompasses various analytics techniques. Candidates will leverage their expertise in data science and operations research to improve user experience and business outcomes. The position requires collaboration with multiple partners to design robust solutions and drive impactful results.

Requirements

  • BS/MS (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years of experience or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative fields.
  • Strong background knowledge and practical experience in probability, statistics, AI/ML, prescriptive modeling, and optimization methodologies.
  • Strong coding skills in Python, with experience in libraries or tools relevant to optimization.
  • Experience with common tools for data storage and processing, particularly in large-scale software environments.
  • Strong experience in data cleaning, aggregation, transformation, and extraction.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy scalable ML/AI and optimization models to enhance demand forecasting and optimize capacity allocation.
  • Develop reusable framework deployments for data ingestion, processing, and analysis to support dynamic user interventions.
  • Acquire and apply domain knowledge to identify and resolve data inconsistencies and improve model performance.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
  • Design and implement improvements to real-time prescriptive scheduling pipelines using optimization techniques.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
