Job description

The Software Development Engineer will lead the development of innovative solutions in brand measurement, focusing on helping advertisers measure and optimize their campaigns across Amazon Ads. This role is part of the Brand Measurement team, which aims to empower global advertisers with performance reporting and AI-driven insights. The engineer will collaborate with product managers, scientists, and design teams to create intelligent advertising experiences. This position is ideal for someone passionate about data-driven decision-making and building impactful solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable, high-performance software systems leveraging advanced generative AI technologies
  • Develop and productionalize innovative machine learning algorithms to optimize advertising performance
  • Collaborate with product managers, scientists, and design teams to create seamless advertising experiences
  • Lead technical design reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineering team members
