Job description
The Apple Advanced Technologies Group is seeking a motivated electrical engineer to design next generation touch sensors. The team focuses on delivering world-class user experiences through the integration of high-precision, low-latency sensors. Engineers will tackle complex multi-disciplinary problems in areas such as circuit analysis and material science. This role requires creativity and strong problem-solving skills to drive innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Ph.D or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analog/mixed-signal/electro-magnetic fundamentals are essential.
- Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools such as FEA (Comsol, ANSYS, Maxwell), MATLAB, Python, or SPICE is required.
- Hands-on experience with system-level design is necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed.
- Solid teamwork and leadership skills are important.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of touch sensors.
- Build models to understand key tradeoffs in sensor design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sensor module solutions.
