This role is focused on engineering workflows and validation tools to enable GenAI-first development within Apple's Wallet, Payments, and Commerce organization. The new enablement team aims to make GenAI-driven development a repeatable and rigorous process across the engineering organization. The position requires applying expert judgment to determine when to automate and when to involve human expertise. The successful candidate will also concentrate on building automated validations that enhance GenAI-first development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of prior software engineering experience.
- 1 year of experience defining and evolving GenAI development automation, templates, and workflow patterns.
- 1 year of experience building, acquiring, and specifying validation tools for GenAI-first development.
- 1 year of experience designing and running experiments to push the limits of GenAI approaches.
- 1 year of experience integrating compliance, security, and quality validations into automation.
- Bachelor's degree in a related subject area or equivalent industry experience.
- Fluency with GenAI-first development tools such as AI coding assistants or LLM-driven automation frameworks.
- Experience in financial services, payments, or regulated technology domains.
- Experience in automated validation, quality engineering, or test automation at scale.
Responsibilities
