Job description

The Software Development Engineer role at Amazon Web Services focuses on designing and building a next-generation Authentication Management System. The team is dedicated to protecting customer and corporate data while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Candidates will engage in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and work closely with leadership to influence engineering and business decisions. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Design and build a large scale next generation Authentication Management System
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to drive key engineering and business decisions
  • Contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle
  • Work closely with peers within a group of talented engineers
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities to resolve system issues
