Job description
Ring is seeking a Data Engineer to join the RBKS Sales & Marketing Analytics team, focusing on building reliable and scalable data pipelines. This role involves collaborating with business intelligence engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to enhance customer experience through data solutions. The team is responsible for managing the entire data lifecycle and driving the AI strategy for the organization. The ideal candidate will leverage GenAI to optimize data for various analytics use cases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with non-relational databases or data stores
- Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
- Experience working in or building GenAI enhanced data pipelines
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for sales and marketing teams
- Apply the right architecture for a complex, multi-channel data environment
- Leverage GenAI to accelerate development and produce optimized data
- Build direct API integrations for new retailers using reusable frameworks
- Contribute to large-scale migrations from the Ring Data Warehouse to native AWS
- Identify and resolve data quality issues and performance bottlenecks in core pipelines
- Enable diverse analytics use cases by producing clean, query-ready data
- Partner with business intelligence engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to evangelize platform standards
