The Software Development Engineer role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) focuses on designing and building a next-generation Authentication Management System. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Design and build a large scale next generation Authentication Management System
- Collaborate with the leadership team to drive key engineering and business decisions
- Contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle
- Ensure systems are fault-tolerant and resolve root causes of issues when paged
