Job description

The Senior Cloud and AI Infrastructure Engineer will work within a collaborative team focused on enhancing technology solutions through emerging technologies. This role emphasizes open-source contributions and continuous learning, with a dedicated learning day each week. The engineer will leverage their expertise in cloud-native applications and AI technologies to drive innovation at Fidelity. The team values transparency and collaboration across various engineering disciplines.

Requirements

  • Experience with LLM application patterns such as prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation.
  • Strong experience deploying and operating cloud-native applications in AWS, particularly EKS and EC2.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and platform automation using tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Strong software engineering skills with experience in Python and familiarity with Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
  • Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
