Fidelity Investments is seeking a Principal Engineer to enhance its Marketing Technology and Data Platform capabilities. This role involves leading the design, development, and support of a complex Customer Data Platform (CDP) ecosystem aimed at modernizing marketing audience management. The team is focused on transforming Fidelity into a customer-centric, data-driven enterprise. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure alignment on solutions and trade-offs.

• 10 plus years of overall software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience in solution architecture design and delivery, focusing on Marketing Technology and Data Engineering
• Deep expertise in Twilio Segment Customer Data Platform, including platform administration and features
• Proven experience integrating CDP solutions across AWS cloud environments and SaaS platforms
• Experience leveraging CDP for cross-channel marketing activations
• Strong experience building full-stack solutions on AWS, including Kubernetes and Lambda
• Strong experience in Snowflake data architecture and engineering
• Experience with database technologies such as DynamoDB and PostgreSQL
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication and articulation skills

• Lead platform, capabilities, and application design for the Customer Data Platform ecosystem
• Integrate CDP solutions across various cloud environments and SaaS platforms
• Build full-stack solutions on AWS to support marketing activations
• Design and implement solutions with strong non-functional characteristics
• Collaborate with data science teams to operationalize predictive models
• Support responsible AI adoption and governance within the organization
• Demonstrate platform features and capabilities to stakeholders
• Drive alignment on solutions and trade-offs with cross-functional teams
