Job description

Intel is seeking a Process Integration and Yield Engineer to enhance technology nodes in Arizona. This role focuses on driving continuous improvements in safety, quality, yield, and productivity while ensuring rigorous quality control. The engineer will work closely with factory resources to minimize defects and improve overall yields through data analysis and collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to influence various teams within the organization.

Requirements

  • BSE degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Statistics/Data Science, Chemistry, Physics or related field of study with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience or a Ph.D. in the above labeled fields.
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication and processing techniques such as Lithography, Etch, CMP, Thin Films, and Plating.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles, and Statistical Data Analysis using tools like JMP/JSL, Python, and SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed data analysis using various statistical and data mining tools to identify the root cause of defects and yield issues.
  • Identify exclusionary or baseline sources of defects or yield impacts and recommend or lead corrective actions.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects on products and processes for improved performance.
  • Provide expertise on process flow segments.
  • Lead or participate in multi-area problem solving teams to troubleshoot complex yield problems.
