Job description

We are looking for an innovative engineering leader to join our developer software team, focusing on Analyzer and Debugger software engineering projects. This role involves leading teams that deliver high-quality products like Intel System Debugger and Intel VTune Profiler. The successful candidate will drive business vision and strategy while transforming observability and profiling in the AI era. You will mentor experienced engineers and foster a collaborative work environment across multiple projects and locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience including 10+ years leading software engineering teams.
  • 5 years of experience with demonstrated technical ability in system profiling, power and performance analysis, debugger engineering, workload analysis, or compiler and library engineering.
  • Deep understanding of AI/HPC and open-source ecosystems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive business vision and strategy to address emerging customer use cases and product requirements.
  • Challenge existing assumptions around all areas of engineering and align the organization around impactful goals.
  • Partner with internal HW and SW product teams to understand product definitions and prioritize requirements.
  • Create consistent, efficient, user-loved products by balancing technical excellence with business needs.
  • Mentor engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
