Job description

In this role, you will enhance and build Bedrock AgentCore services that are innovative in the Agentic AI field. You will tackle challenging engineering problems to create machine learning solutions for customers. The position is within the AWS AI team, offering a unique opportunity to influence technology and product development in a fast-growing business. A successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a desire to make a significant industry impact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
  • 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement core infrastructure components including control plane APIs and deployment orchestration systems
  • Optimize agent invocation latency and resource utilization across various platforms
  • Develop monitoring and operational tooling to ensure production reliability
  • Collaborate with AWS teams to integrate and optimize agent runtime capabilities
  • Contribute to technical strategy and architecture decisions for session management and security integrations
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering excellence through reviews and best practices
