Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX) is seeking a software engineer to join their team responsible for Amazon's core testing platforms. This role focuses on designing, building, and operating AI-driven testing capabilities that enhance software development at scale. The engineer will work closely with managers and teammates to deliver high-quality technical solutions for thousands of software engineers across Amazon. The team aims to create an AI-powered testing partner that helps builders ship high-quality software quickly.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

• Build and operate distributed systems at global scale, including serverless test orchestration and load testing platforms
• Demonstrate good taste in developer experience and tooling design through the software development life cycle
• Partner with managers and engineering leads to influence technical architecture and product roadmaps
