Job description

The Senior Software Engineering Manager for Search Infrastructure at Google will lead a team of engineers focused on enhancing the reliability and performance of Google Search. Requirements

  • 8 years of experience with software development in Java or C++.
  • 7 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals.
  • Develop the long-term technical goal and roadmap within and beyond the scope of your teams.
  • Oversee systems designs within the scope of the broader area and review product or system development code.
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
  • Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams.
