The Software Engineer II position is part of Google's AI Career Catalyst Program, aimed at early career professionals. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with data structures and algorithms during coursework, projects, research, internships, or practical experience.
- Experience with software development in one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience within AI/ML and Infrastructure technical domains through internships, research, or independent exposure.
- Ability to start in June 2027.
Responsibilities
- Rotate across up to three AI and Infrastructure organizations based on business and project needs.
- Deliver on high-impact projects from day one, rapidly upskilling to contribute directly to core organizational and business goals.
- Execute on key business initiatives while developing deep technical excellence and navigating highly ambiguous systems.
- Establish a broad cross-organizational network through collaboration and project assignments.
