Job description
The Software Engineer III, Core Security role at Google focuses on developing innovative access controls and enhancing security measures for Google's infrastructure. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of programming experience in Java.
- 2 years of experience in coding and system design with one or more programming languages such as Java, C/C++, or Python.
- 2 years of experience with code optimization.
Responsibilities
- Architect new novel access controls in collaboration with security teams to redefine Google's security posture.
- Scale the policy engine to accommodate global growth and address emerging threats.
- Manage engineering analysis tools that help decision-makers visualize the impact of access policy changes.
- Partner with Site Reliability Engineers to enhance platform reliability and health at scale.
- Collaborate with teams that interact with end users to assist them in navigating access challenges.
