Job description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will lead and execute manufacturing initiatives to support operational excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role involves providing hands-on production support, conducting root cause analysis for critical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The engineer will also track action items for timely resolution and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. The position requires strong communication and technical expertise in manufacturing principles.
Requirements
- A college, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience is required.
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience is required.
- Project management skills are necessary.
- Experience in teamwork collaboration between areas and other functions is essential.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices is important.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of assigned manufacturing projects, ensuring all safety, quality, and production requirements are achieved.
- Apply advanced manufacturing principles to design, optimize, and implement processes that meet business and product goals.
- Drive continuous enhancements to manufacturing equipment and workflows to elevate efficiency, reliability, and consistency.
- Utilize continuous improvement methodologies and ensure alignment with manufacturing standards and operating practices.
- Lead communication efforts, influencing key business leaders, functional partners, and external stakeholders to support project objectives.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver on specific project assignments and timelines.
- Provide advanced technical knowledge in manufacturing principles to guide strategic process decisions.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and offer coaching to build capability, alignment, and long-term success.
