Job description

The Data Engineering Senior Analyst at EY is responsible for enabling Talent Insights & Analytics by designing, operating, and maintaining reliable data pipelines and analytics platforms. This role focuses on ensuring data availability, integrity, security, and performance while collaborating with various teams to support business-critical reporting and transformation initiatives. The position requires hands-on data engineering expertise, particularly with Databricks and SQL, to optimize data workflows and support analytics delivery. The analyst will also act as a subject matter expert on data security and governance within Talent analytics platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in data, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in data engineering, data operations, or analytics platform support.
  • Hands-on experience building and supporting data pipelines using Databricks in an enterprise analytics environment.
  • Proven SSIS & SSMS developmental experience.
  • Strong awareness of data privacy, information security, and data quality principles.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and transformations using Databricks, SQL, and enterprise ETL tools.
  • Develop and optimize Databricks notebooks and workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment.
  • Manage and support analytics platforms and environments in partnership with IT and TIA teams.
  • Coordinate and support mass data, hierarchy, and organizational changes driven by Talent or structural transformations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data security, access controls, and privacy considerations within Talent analytics platforms.
