Job description

The Senior Technical Consultant role at EY focuses on transforming business problems into technology solutions for clients in the Property and Casualty Insurance sector. The position is part of the Financial Services Organization (FSO) team, which is dedicated to providing technology-enabled transformation programs. The consultant will work closely with clients to improve their efficiency and effectiveness through strategic technology implementations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to advise clients on best practices and innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant work experience at a Property and Casualty Insurance carrier or consulting firm.
  • Previous application experience in Guidewire, OneShield, Exigen/EIS, Majesco, Duck Creek, Insurity, Sapiens/Adaptik, FirstBest, Business Objects, Cognos, or Informatica.
  • Proficiency in system selection and implementation, definition of business and technical requirements, and design of business and technology architecture.
  • Ability to deliver system implementation through all phases of the project life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion, and testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and client presentations.
