Requirements

  • Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, subnets, and the OSI model is necessary.
  • Hands-on familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments is required.
  • Foundational exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in configuring, deploying, and maintaining security tools, including firewalls and SIEM platforms.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to review infrastructure blueprints for cybersecurity alignment.
  • Assist in running periodic security audits and scanning infrastructure for vulnerabilities.
  • Write basic scripts to automate repetitive security tasks and system validation.
  • Act as a technical point of contact to troubleshoot internal integration issues with security software.
  • Create and update technical documentation for deployed security suites.
