As a DTCO and Timing Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be integral to DTCO analysis for various markets including Mobile, Compute, Automotive, and IOT. You will utilize advanced methodologies and tools to evaluate process technology entitlement for SOC products. The role involves performing Spice simulations for power and performance validation, as well as block level PPA analysis and implementation. You will collaborate with foundry teams, EDA companies, and internal teams to optimize design processes and support new advanced process technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Good programming skills in Python, Perl, TCL, Unix shell, and C/C++.
• Experience with Spice simulations such as Hspice, Finesim, PrimeSim, AFS, and Spectre.
• Knowledge of RTL to GDS flow and tools like FC Synthesis, FC Place and Route, Genus, and Innovus.

• Conduct DTCO analysis targeting Mobile, Compute, Automotive, and IOT markets.
• Perform Spice simulations for power and performance validation and STA sign off.
• Implement block level PPA analysis from RTL to GDS flow for hard macros.
• Collaborate with foundry DTCO teams and EDA partners to drive Fmax optimization.
• Support the bring-up of new advanced process technologies from PDK to VLSI design.
