Job description
The Developer Relations Engineer at Qualcomm will focus on enhancing the developer experience for AI applications using Snapdragon AI APIs and optimized libraries. This role involves collaborating with internal developers and customer engineering teams to gather feedback and improve the software stack. The engineer will develop end-to-end sample applications that allow third-party developers to test their models on Qualcomm hardware. The ideal candidate will have experience in application development across various platforms and will work under the guidance of the Developer Relations Engineering Lead.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-4+ years of experience in application development spanning multiple target platforms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
- Experience with development of end-to-end applications on Windows and Linux.
- Good communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to learn, think, and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, version control systems, and agile project management practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across software, hardware engineering, developer marketing, and product management teams.
- Develop and ensure sample application comprehensiveness for Edge AI on Snapdragon and Dragonwing platforms.
- Interface with third-party application developers and cross-functional teams to create user-friendly sample applications and documentation.
- Contribute new features and designs to the Qualcomm AI toolkit to enhance the workflow experience of application developers.
