Qualcomm is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud edge software for next-generation products. The role involves collaboration with various engineering teams to create system-level software solutions that meet performance requirements. The engineer will focus on software testing, including automated test suites and manual testing of customer experiences. This position emphasizes continuous integration and deployment to ensure production-level software readiness.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.

• Create software and firmware test plans addressing requirements traceability and test coverage.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated software and firmware test suites.
• Manually test the customer experience of Qualcomm hardware and software installations.
• Assist in creating a Quality Engineering and Release engineering process with a focus on continuous integration and deployment.
• Ensure existing Operating Systems and customer environments perform well while identifying enhancement opportunities.
