Job description

The role focuses on providing comprehensive support for relationship management and investment processes within Goldman Sachs' Personal Wealth Management team. Analysts will work closely with Private Wealth Advisors to cater to the unique needs of high net worth clients. The position emphasizes portfolio oversight, tailored investment strategy development, and impactful client communication. Analysts will also conduct due diligence on investment opportunities and support business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Exhibit a strong interest in financial markets and sound investment sense.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hold or be prepared to obtain the SIE, Series 3, 7, and 63 licenses within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Private Wealth Advisors to support relationship management.
  • Proactively monitor client portfolios and assess manager performance.
  • Design bespoke asset allocation proposals for new clients.
  • Prepare client-facing materials that depict asset allocation strategies.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on investment opportunities.
  • Synthesize complex research material into actionable insights.
  • Support business development efforts by researching qualified prospects.
  • Facilitate the execution of trades on behalf of clients.
  • Manage the new account onboarding process for clients.
  • Provide comprehensive overviews of client reporting capabilities.
