Job description

The Workforce Identities Engineering team at Goldman Sachs is seeking an experienced Active Directory systems engineer to support the architecture, design, and development of both on-premises and cloud-hosted Active Directory environments. This role involves ensuring the security and resiliency of Active Directory platforms while collaborating with global teams. The engineer will also engage in vendor management and contribute to the promotion of new standards and solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Active Directory infrastructures and related projects.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of experience managing an Active Directory infrastructure.
  • Deep technical knowledge of complex Active Directory environments in medium to large enterprises.
  • Experience architecting and implementing business continuity plans and recovery strategies for Active Directory Domain Services.
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and testing software in PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, engineer, and deploy solutions to enhance the security and resiliency of Active Directory platforms.
  • Coordinate with various technology infrastructure teams for infrastructure projects.
  • Manage systems lifecycle and evaluate existing solutions for optimizations or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Active Directory engineers across Goldman Sachs and Microsoft.
  • Leverage PowerShell to automate tasks for Active Directory management.
