Job description

This position is within the North American Power and Natural Gas Physical Commodities team, focusing on facilitating business growth while managing risk and control around trade capture, documentation, and settlement of structured physical transactions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and work closely with traders, sales, and various internal teams. Key responsibilities include onboarding new transactions and monitoring settlements for US power and North American natural gas products. The role also involves regulatory reporting and preparation of control reports.

Responsibilities

  • Review trade documentation and perform trade checkouts for onboarding new structured transactions.
  • Provide support to traders, sales, and marketers around existing transactions and new business.
  • Monitor payments and receipts, invoicing clients, and reconcile customer account balances for physical transactions.
  • Create and review structured excel models that facilitate business support and reconciliations.
  • Perform regulatory reporting functions related to the US Power and Natural Gas business.
  • Interact daily with Traders, Sales, Technology, Legal, Strategists, and other Operational departments.
  • Prepare and review escalation and control reports.
