Job description

The Senior AI Tech Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) will take on end-to-end responsibility for specific modules within client engagements, focusing on delivering innovative technology solutions. This role is part of the Technology Advisory & Delivery Chapter, where consultants work collaboratively to address complex digital and technology challenges. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to help clients navigate the impact of AI on their business models and optimize their IT practices. The position requires a blend of consulting skills and deep technological knowledge to drive meaningful change for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, economics, supply chain, logistics, system engineering, or business management.
  • 4+ years of practical experience in IT/ERP consulting, professional software development, or product and program implementation.
  • Exceptional learning and ramp-up skills, especially on IT topics such as data and digital platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • GenAI tool fluency, including demonstrated use of tools such as ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a variety of digital topics, applying generalist consulting skills to strategic digital and technology questions.
  • Create strategies for change and win buy-in for recommendations from clients.
  • Collaborate with fellow BCGers to transform client potential into performance.
  • Lead the design, orchestration, and scaling of AI and data-driven solutions.
  • Manage junior team members by defining and organizing their modules and mentoring them.
