Arcadis is seeking a Project Wastewater Engineer to join the Resilience Water team in Syracuse, NY. This role focuses on solving complex wastewater challenges and delivering sustainable treatment solutions for municipal and industrial clients. The engineer will collaborate with experts and work on diverse projects to improve environmental performance and operational efficiency. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 7 years of experience supporting the planning, design, and delivery of municipal and/or industrial wastewater treatment projects
- Demonstrated ability to deliver technically complex projects while balancing client expectations, project schedules, budgets, and quality objectives
Responsibilities
- Lead technical project execution and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver wastewater treatment solutions.
- Support project planning activities, including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination.
- Prepare and oversee engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and design documents.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
- Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, and proposal development activities.
- Support client relationship management, proposal preparation, and business development activities.
