Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Field Application Engineering Manager to lead technical execution for rack-scale AI system integration through ODM and manufacturing partner ecosystems. This role involves managing and developing a team of Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to support partner integration, validation, and production ramp. The position requires strong technical expertise, people leadership, and coordination across various teams within NVIDIA. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and possess excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in rack integration, datacenter systems, technical customer support, manufacturing support, or partner-facing engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience leading a team.
  • Comfortable in a hands-on lab environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer systems architecture is beneficial.
  • Linux and Linux system administration skills.
  • Familiarity with server, rack, GPU, networking, storage, firmware/BMC, power, thermal, cabling, and Linux-based debug workflows.
  • Experience with manufacturing or integration partner workflows.
  • Experience with issue triage, escalation management, and cross-functional risk communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of FAEs providing technical support for ODM and manufacturing partner integration, validation, launch readiness, and production ramp.
  • Work closely with account, program, architecture, engineering, operations, and partner-facing teams to align priorities and resolve issues.
  • Own escalation rhythm for critical partner integration issues and drive timely closure across cross-functional teams.
  • Be a technical expert on NVIDIA products and rack-scale AI infrastructure.
  • Nurture the growth of direct reports through supervision, training, and mentoring.
  • Build repeatable operating rhythms, debug practices, and readiness reviews across the team.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
