• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in building and operating scalable, high-availability backend services
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Experience designing and managing large-scale distributed systems or web services
• Experience designing services for high throughput and low latency at scale
• Familiarity with Android and embedded Linux, and experience in C/C++
• Experience with security engineering, abuse detection, or threat monitoring systems
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices with operational excellence practices
