Job description
This role involves specifying, designing, and verifying advanced mixed-signal circuits with a focus on the digital side. The candidate will work closely with system architects, circuit designers, and design verification engineers to ensure high-quality RTL coding. The position requires collaboration with the physical design team for timing closure and supporting silicon bring-up. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in RTL design and a strong understanding of mixed-signal concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science in Electric Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Deep knowledge of RTL design
- Deep knowledge of Verilog and System Verilog
- Good knowledge of mixed signal concepts
- Good knowledge of algorithm development
- Working experience with physical design teams
- Good knowledge of front-end tools like Verilog simulators and linters
- Good knowledge of synthesis and static timing
- Good knowledge of System-Verilog assertions and design verification techniques
- Good knowledge of scripting languages, with Perl and Python as plusses
- Good communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Specify and design advanced mixed-signal circuits focusing on the digital side
- Write RTL code for blocks specified by yourself or others
- Develop detailed design specifications in collaboration with other teams
- Utilize formal tools like LINT, CDC, and RDC to ensure RTL quality
- Support design verification to ensure bug-free silicon
- Collaborate with the PD team for timing closure of designs
- Assist in silicon bring-up activities
