The AWS Kumo team is seeking a passionate Data Engineer to enhance data architecture and improve data quality for AWS customer applications. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including Data Scientists and Business Analysts, to leverage data for strategic insights. The team focuses on revolutionizing customer engagement and support through innovative data solutions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing AWS Support business processes and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
• Experience with non-relational databases and data stores such as object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, and column-family databases

• Develop and improve the current data architecture, data quality, monitoring, and data availability.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to implement advanced analytics algorithms for statistical analysis, prediction, clustering, and machine learning.
• Partner with Business Analysts across teams to build and verify hypotheses to improve the AWS Support business.
• Help continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes to simplify self-service support for customers.
• Keep up to date with advances in big data technologies and run pilots to design scalable data architecture.
