Job description

The role involves working as an Industrial Engineer (IE) within the KLA Services team, which focuses on maintaining high performance and productivity of semiconductor manufacturing tools. The position requires knowledge in electronics and complex capital equipment, with responsibilities including setup, alignment, calibration, and troubleshooting. The IE will work closely with customers to ensure satisfaction and operational quality of systems. This role may involve domestic and international travel to customer sites.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable in electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems.
  • Experience with SWIFT products and knowledge of high vacuum systems is preferable.
  • Competent with the MS Office suite and knowledgeable in computer theory and various operating systems.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Minimum ASET degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve predictable Cycle Times and Warranty Starts for new tools installed at customer sites.
  • Perform setup, alignment, calibration, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of highly complex capital equipment.
  • Represent the company to the customer and ensure customer satisfaction with installation-associated activities.
  • Assure operational quality of system equipment and verify new tool performance.
  • Seek warranty sign-off on newly installed tools.
