Arcadis is seeking a Roadway Project Design Engineer to join their team in Baton Rouge or Metairie, Louisiana. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the technical design and plan production for various roadway projects. The engineer will work closely with clients and assist in managing small to mid-size projects across Louisiana and beyond. The position emphasizes collaboration within a skilled team dedicated to improving quality of life through sustainable infrastructure solutions.

• 7+ years of work experience, with 4 years on LADOTD projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineers License.
• Proficiency with CAD, particularly Microstation and OpenRoads.
• Familiarity with LADOTD design standards and policies.

• Assist in the development and design of infrastructure projects for roadways.
• Perform various roles on multi-disciplined projects including planning and technical design.
• Assist in developing project scopes and budgets.
• Interface with clients and maintain their needs for the Project Manager.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and design/drafters.
• Ensure project compliance with Arcadis practices including quality and safety standards.
