Arcadis is seeking a Senior Roadway Design Engineer to join their team in Cleveland, Columbus, or Akron. This role involves leading the development and design of infrastructure projects related to roadways, including various types of streets and expressways. The engineer will work on multi-disciplined projects, contributing to technical design and client interactions. The position emphasizes collaboration, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring project compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 10 or more years of relevant engineering experience including supervision of large, complex projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification
• Proficiency with CAD, particularly Civil3D and Microstation, and experience with OpenRoads software
• Familiarity with ODOT design standards and policies

• Lead and direct the development and design of roadway infrastructure projects.
• Perform various roles on multi-disciplined projects including technical design and production lead.
• Participate in client-facing roles, making presentations and managing client expectations.
• Assist in developing project scopes and budgets while interfacing with client needs.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and design/drafters.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure compliance with Arcadis practices.
