Job description

The PKI Engineer role at EY focuses on developing and implementing PKI-related services to support various digital certificate use cases. The engineer will work with a range of technologies, including Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services and Thales Hardware Security Modules. The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the best solutions are delivered to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • A deep understanding of digital certificate lifecycle management functions and broad experience with different certificate types and uses.
  • A broad understanding of available PKI vendors and technologies offering technical solutions in the market.
  • Knowledge and experience with cryptographic protocols, services, and standards.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new or enhanced PKI services across the organization.
  • Maintain currently deployed solutions and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
  • Partner with all stakeholders and external vendors to develop, deploy, and support the best possible solution to meet EY business needs.
  • Document solution installation and configuration guides and operational procedures.
  • Document thorough test plans and provide detailed and summary reports of results.
