Job description

This role involves designing innovative fulfillment centers and logistics systems at Amazon. Requirements

  • 5+ years of design and innovation, research and development work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent
  • Experience in management of engineering design projects
  • Experience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, and statistical analysis
  • Experience with complex automated material handling equipment and packaging technologies
  • Experience with design-in-safety

Responsibilities

  • Own multiple standards and specifications simultaneously
  • Design high-quality, cost-effective fulfillment and distribution solutions
  • Serve as a technical expert to design teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure designs meet requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Verify successful installation, commissioning, and launch of systems
